KGB (Kadamba Geleyara Balaga) premiered at the Bangalore Queer Film Festival (BQFF) 2023, and has since been an Official Selection at the Ooty Short Film Festival 2023, the Cinema of the World International Film Festival, and was Runner Up for Best Motivational Film at the Northeast India International Film Festival. In April 2023, KGB was screened at Fed Square, Melbourne. This was part of the film program of Season 1 of ಒಡಲಾಳ Odalala, Arts House, Melbourne.

Mahishaa is a filmmaker and cinematographer based in Bengaluru. With over 5 years of experience in the film, advertising, and corporate film industry, Most of his work focus on the city Bengaluru with the lens of caste, gender & masculinity. He is the founder of Neelavarana, an Ambedkarite artist collective that produces short films, music videos & documentaries focusing on Bahujan stories made by people from the DBA community.
